I am trying to add an email to my Android tablet in Outlook but without success, I have it on my Desktop and iPhone but try as I might it will not have it I have all the correct settings i.e. Imap incoming and outgoing servers ports etc but no go, also I seemed to have gained another email address which it insists on using and I cannot find a way to delete it ether on my desktop or iPhone any help will stop me going loony

Which email account are you trying to add?
Have you ensured the account doesnβt require an app specific password?Comment

it is an email account hosted by Plusnet who I used to get my broadband from, I do not require a password, I know because I have another address with them which works fine this other address seems to have no root and I cannot remember setting it up, Outlook keeps asking me to access a code that it is sending to this address which I cannot see, I will see if I can locate the offending address on the Plusnet site and delete itOriginally posted by BastetComment

I now seemed to have solved it myself, it kept trying to setup a Gmail account, but now I have found the correct settings I hope it will be ok, thanks for your interestOriginally posted by GrahamwComment
