Where to get an Older version of Gmail?

So as you all know Gmail now looks like crap, I hate the new all white layout, it’s the opposite of what every other developer is doing right now with dark modes on everything. Plus overall I just don’t like the new interface. I had downloaded an older verion on my last phone, a OnePlus 6T, and was successfully able to use the older version, but last week I upgraded to a OnePlus 7 Pro and now for the life of me I can’t remember where I got the old version of Gmail from. I have tried a couple different websites and whne I try to install it it says β€œDid not Install”. I have my phone setup to install from unknown sources, and I went ahead and deleted all data and cache from Gmail and disabled it, then tried the installs and none worked. if someone can help I’d appreciate it. Thanks.

And to add to Vgers post

Dark mode for android and gmail

Google dark mode is something users have been wanting for ages now, and slowly it's starting to arrive on products including Android, YouTube, and more.
