Can I charge using USB port?

I have a crappy Supersonic SC-1022KB tablet, that works OKAY, I was wondering if it is possibe for me to use it’s micro usb port to charge on the go. I have a 20000mAh portable(ish) charger that I would like to use when I don’t have access to a power outlet. The tablet has it’s own charging port (refer to picture below) so do I have to charge it using that port or can I use the usb port to charge also?

Yes, both phones and tablets can be charged using powerbanks/portable charger.
