    Upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2

Has anyone had an 4.1 Android & did an Android 4.2 upgrade? I’m doing an upgrade and it came to the β€œAndroid Jelly Bean Android 4.1” logo w/ the yellow words @ the top left saying β€œWMT Android4.2 upgrading …” is it suppose to be in that position till the upgrade is done or is it suppose to show the upgrade process?

Why are you using Jeally Bean? You should be on Oreo, 8.0

I’d like to be on the latest version but those later weren’t made by Wondermedia. My Android 4.1 was made by Wondermedia & so was the 4.2 Firmware. Unfortunately that’s keeping me from installing the very latest version. The later versions don’t seem to support my device.

If this is the screen you are asking about then yes, granted it states 4.0 the same will apply.

What happened after you let it finish?
The only way you will be able to get to Android 8 will be to purchase an new device.
The highest you may be able to update to is 4.2.2

I let it stay like that overnight to find out it was still the same screen, then I turned it off turned it back on then the screen size shrunk, then I tried to reinstall 4.1 firmware but that did nothing then the screen turned white then a glitchy screen came up. So now my netbook is a deadbook.

There is little point in trying to update because nothing below v 6, Marshmallow is supported.

My oldest tablet runs lollipop. I use it to take pictures, watch movies on a micro sd card and read books.

and see if you can get a ROM for your model of Wondermedia tablet.

The Android boot screen won’t show, just a glitchy screen although the screen isn’t cracked.
