Gmail Ads

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to get rid of the ads in the android gmail app. Every article I’ve read says, that the ads are restricted to the Promotions tab, and to just delete that tab and your emails will get sent to your inbox instead. Well I’m also getting ads in my Social Tab, so I am not going to delete both tabs and have all my emails just go to my inbox. SO is there a way to get rid of the ads without deleting the tabs. Or is there an app for that.

Sorry I’m only new to Android phones but both our Android phones email apps don’t get ads. I do have an ad blocker but wether that is the reason or not I do not know.

I use Google Inbox, and there’s no ads.

I’ve never used the Gmail app. I’m also old school with my inbox. I have 1 tab, I disabled all the others when I set up email.

Well it looks like there isn’t really a fix for this, so I guess we can close this thread.
