For unknown reasons the power light on my Asus mini-laptop has started blinking (green and orange). Itβs definitely the power light because it goes off whenever I remove the power cable connector (which I do only when the laptop is turned off). The laptop itself nonetheless continues to function properly, otherwise I wouldnβt be able to post this query. Likewise the latopβs battery is still fully charged. . . leastways according to Control Panel. So what could be the likely cause? Should I be concerned?
Incredibly, thereβs not even a whisper of a clue anywhere on the laptop itself indicating its model. All I know is that I bought it new in 2015 and that it has a 11.6 inch screen and that it was called a netbook. I do recall the numerals β200β cited somewhere in its technical nomenclature. I apologise for my lack of precision here. I first noticed the problem on the 24/12/23 - the date I posted my query. I suspect it began fairly recently, possibly just a few days ago. Again, the battery is fine.
Otherwise, treating the problem as a generic issue, what are the more common reasons for a power light to start blinking on a laptop? A faulty LED indicator light, nothing more that that?
