    Laptop fan

My laptops fan is spinning, but wrong it keeps changing directions it spins in for about 5 seconds then completely stops spinning and 3 seconds later it starts all over again. Is it a internal problem with the fan, should i buy a new fan? (Msi GF65 small fan)

could be the fan itself or the header it connects to, which could be a motherboard fault.
but with the fan being the cheapest and easiest to replace, you’d have to start there first.

If your post implies you are familiar with opening your system, see first if it needs cleaning,
