I have had problems with my G14. When it is connected to power, nothing bad happens. But when I run it on battery, the laptop sometimes freezes. It has happened over 20 times already but I haven’t been able to come up with a more specific pattern than running on battery. The problems started happening after upgrading both my RAM and SSD but I have used tool to check for problems + there still aren’t any problems while plugged in.
The laptop doesn’t just freeze all at once. First minimised windows become unresponsive and internet stops working. I can still move around open programs but they are unresponsive otherwise. Music etc keeps playing. Slowly everything freezes but the laptop never actually crashes so I have to power it off.
I would like to know which part of the laptop might be the cause of these problems. I kinda assumed that it wasn’t the SSD and ram since I have no problems while plugged in but I don’t really have a clue
