Issue with Inspiron 16 Plus 7620 laptop - Microfreezes, FPS drops, crashes during gaming

I’m having a problem with my Inspiron 16 Plus 7620 laptop. While playing games on any graphics settings, I’m experiencing microfreezes (the audio functions normally, and all in-game sounds are present, but the screen completely freezes or becomes a slideshow) for 5-7 seconds before they disappear. I also encounter significant FPS drops at times. Occasionally, the game crashes with a BSOD. A couple of times, the game closed with a video card error. I’ve updated all drivers multiple times, and I play with the Ultra Performance mode enabled. During gameplay, the temperature remains around 60 degrees Celsius, the RAM is occupied at 60%, CPU is below 10%, and the GPU temperature is also not too high. What could be causing this issue?

    What games are involved.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
