You have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM (including the amount) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

jump on the Acer website and check the support page for your laptop and see if there are downloads relating to Acer software that would control the Fn keys.

also get in BIOS that Fn keys haven’t been disabled.

What keys are you tiring to use with the Fn key?

Few things to attempt in no particular order.

Could also reset the BIOS to a factory state and see if that corrects it.

Next look at running a DISM and then SFC.

Maybe even a Repair Install of Windows.

Another thing that you could try is redownloading the keyboard drivers and reinstall.

Remove the reference form Device manager and reboot and see if that clears it up.
