SSD Physical size and Drive Capacity Question

I recently bought an Acer Aspire E5-575-338M with an Intel I3 processor. It comes with a 256GB SSD and I’d like to install a 1 or 2 TB SSD. I know a lot about HDDs but little ablout SSD’s. Do different compuyters limit the size of the SSD? I know there can be limits on HDDs but that’s usually when it gets to very largs, like 4TB or more. Whatdo you think?
    Thx

looks like that model has the easy accessible storage panel on the underside of the unit.
take that off and you should see the current 2.5" drive.
upgrade that with something like this; Samsung 870 EVO 1TB 2.5in SATA SSD (MZ-77E1T0BW) - Umart.com.au

then you are up for reloading Windows and all your software and data.
