Lenovo Yoga 920

Hi, I have a Lenovo Yoga 920 and it suddenly appeared blue screen and am unable to restart it again.

It is plugged in and whenever I try to restarting, the screen remains black and the keyboard light will keep blinking.

I removed the charging and the keyboard light will continue to blink until the battery is drained completely.

Can I ask what’s the problem and can it be fixed? I also have some information in it that I need. Can I recover them back?

Do you have access to another computer
If yes
You could remove the hdd and slave it to another computer or put it in a caddy an connect to another computer.

It could be the mainboard or the HDD.
If you like I can give you instructions on how to make a Ubuntu usb - No install needed
You then see if it will boot from ubuntu and take your data off

I don’t have a spare computer but I will try to find one if I can retrieve the data.

Do you also have the instructions on how to remove the HDD?

It is an M2 style drive so you will have to use a caddy.
Or you can try ubuntu
