So I dropped my laptop today and everything seems fine - no rattling or loose parts inside, no cracks on the screen, and everything is working perfectly normal, BUT my screen display keeps flashing a weird texture and itβs making it hard to see the screen. Is there any way I can fix this or do I need to take it to the shop?
in my experience, replacing the screen panel is doable, and about a third of the cost of a new laptop.
so if old, may not be worth it.
any chance itβs under warranty still, or could be claimed under house contents insurance?
if you donβt need it to be mobile, relegate it to desk duties and add an external monitor to it.
