    HDMI Problem (Please Help :()

Hi! I am having some issues with the HDMI port. Since December, approx, I haven’t been able to share my laptop’s screen and I’m not sure why. I’ve tried everything I’ve seen on the Internet (update drivers, troubleshooters, changing the hdmi cable…), but it is still not working. I’m 90% sure it is due to hardware hdmi problems, but I don’t know how to fix it. If someone has any idea I’ll be happy to try it.

My laptop is a HP Pavilion gaming Laptop 16 with an Intel Core i7 processor (it has Windows 11 as OS). The Windows 11 update is not the issue (at least the main one, I think) since it didn’t work before either. Fun (sad) fact: in theory it has a GeForce GTX Nvidia display processor, but the laptop doesn’t detect it for whatever reason.

P.S.: This is my first thread post ever, so if someone need more specifications, please let me know.

    Please download and run speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.
[HEADING=3]To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:[/HEADING]
    [ol]
[li]In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.[/li][li]In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.[/li][li]Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.[/li][/ol]

You’ve used different cables, have you tried using a different monitor or TV to output to/can you confirm it works?

When you go into settings > system > display under multiple diplsays do you have it set to ‘Extend these displays’ ‘Duplicate these displays’ or ‘Show only display x’

Hi, yes, I’ve tried with different monitors and TVs, it didn’t work with none of them. Regarding the settings, it doesn’t even detect other displays, even with the Windows+P (choosing any other projection configuration, it doesn’t work.

I’ve already downloaded the speccy software, what do I do with it?
