    I need help with a HDD adapter for an old laptop

    Hello everyone.
    I recently got given an old laptop.
    Its an IBM RT686 and the HDD case or should i say the adapter that connects to the HDD is missing, ill provide some pictures for you all to see, i need help with the name of the connector so i can find it and buy it somewhere.

    Looks like an IDE connector to me.

    They come in various sizes, if you look up the length of it and make sure the pins match, you could probably get another.

      Can you post the make and model of the HDD?

      Can find the reverse of what you need also need to know if the other end is SATA or EDIE or some other connector?

      @Pyro that is for a desktop not a laptop.

      Have you tried contacting IBM.
