    Laptop won't charge

    Hi,

I’m currently using a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 360 for schoolwork (for about half a year? maybe?) which has been working fine since this morning. I used it quite a lot today, running it down to around 20%, which I have done 3 or 4 times before. I got home and plugged it in; when I checked back after half an hour or so, I noticed it was stuck at 0%. Whenever I unplug it, it immediately shuts off, and when I plug it back in, I can use it, which is what I am doing right now. I have done some battery troubleshooting, and just about everything says that my battery is at 98.9% health, which seems to indicate it is fine. It just appears that, for some reason, my laptop is choosing not to charge. I would appreciate any help, as I’d rather not have to go to a repair shop or anything like that.

sionce it works fine when connected to mains power, that would indicate the power jack and transformer pack are fine, which sadly leaves the battery itself.

if it’s only 6 months (ish) old, it’ll be under warranty still.
you’d rather get this dealt with now for a small inconvenience then fork out your own money later on.

a quick Google search suggests that while the battery isn’t accessible from the outside, it is replaceable once the back plate is removed.

Being that the OP revisited the forum but chose not to acknowledge the offer of help from Bruce, thread closed due to lack of any feedback from the OP.
