    Asus laptop random crashes

So I have an Asus F550JX - i7 4720hq, gtx 950m dedicated gpu and an intel hd graphics 4600 integrated gpu, 8gb DDr3. I got the laptop for free from someone that didn’t told me it has this problem. I opened it up, i cleared the dust, changed the thermal paste and still get this crash. The crash happens random, it can be after an hour of gaming or when i’m just on desktop or watching a movie/ youtube or after it just booted in windows, so it’s not from overheating. It crashes, i just turn off the laptop(unplug it) and then it boots right up like nothing happened. I’ll attach the video - i suspect it’s one of the gpu’s, but i’m not sure, please help me with your opinion. Thank you.

What happens if you connect the notebook up to an external screen, is the video on that ok or is it the same as the above.

If you boot into safe mode does the issue replicate?

Not a good sign as that normally means major hardware failure.

Restart the computer in Safe Mode only and test both the notebooks screen and the image on the external screen, if both are still bad you have 100% ruled out any software issue.
