I have a new Acer laptop Windows 10 it has Intel what read online Intel no long supports Legacy in bios as of 2020 i would like to be able to run a live Linux USB just to try, but cant. Is there another way to do this my only option in bios is boot manager. Thank,s Chuck

Have you gone into the BIOS and looked to see if it is the UEFI class 3?

Have you tried to see what happens if you boot to the latest version of Linux?

Have you tried turning off secure boot to see if that make any changes?

It is only UEFI in BIOS no legacy option, ony Boot Manager option. I did try Linux Live USB. Wont boot i cant turn off Smart Screen, turn on automatic boot with no without using your password or i cant run VB on this Acer, i bought an HP at WalMart to see how it does it has very same things you cant do on this Acer i will take the HP back to WalMart and get my money back, it was also has Intel.
      Thank,s Chuck

You can always use a Virtual Machine like you have before.

        Decided against the Chromebook?
