Sound crackling and FPS drops

For the past couple of days I’ve been having a problem where the games I play begin stuttering in about 10 minutes also when it stutters the sound of the game cuts out and I can hear popping and crackling sounds in my headphones. I’ve already reinstalled and updates my Realtek drivers and the problem still occurs. Also lowering the game graphics settings still doesn’t help with anything. I’ve had this lap top for a little over a year now and this has never happened.

Anyone know what can help with this.

I would try performing a clean boot in Windows and see if the same issue occurs.

Have you updated your video card drivers to the latest version?

Yes i do have the latest drivers installed

Ok, perform a clean boot in the link above and see if there is any improvement. Also set the power plan in Control Panel< System and Security< Power options to high performance.
