when playing games when my fps drops below my monitors refresh rate my game feels laggy

I have an RX 5600xt with 24 GBS at 3000 MHz CPU is an r5 3600 my monitor is an AOC 144hz monitor with 1 ms response whenever I’m paying bfv or bf1 and the yakuza series when I go under 144 fps my game feels really laggy

Looks like a custom built desktop to me so why post on the laptop forum?

should not be laggy over 60fps. Could be your provider also
