I purchased a Teclast laptop and discovered the @ symbol is reversed with the " symbol. I have gone into settings and set the laptop to English (United Kingdom) as I am UK based.
Yet nothing works. I have seen something online to go into Device Manager and uninstall the drivers for the keyboard, then allow the system to reinstall the settings. Is this safe? Any thoughts?
assuming you have Windows 10, have you click the Start button, then Settings (the cog) and gone into Time & Language and change the settings to your region?
then go into Control Panel, Region and check the Format and Administrative tabs that they are on your region as well?

I have done as advised but no change. However, I have just tested again - changing to English (United States) puts the characters in their correct positions. Hmmmβ¦
