Webcam not working HP Envy 15

Hi,

I’m looking for some assistance on getting my webcam working. The software it uses is Cyberlink YouCam. It came installed with version 5 and I have uninstalled this and updated to version 9.
I have checked that the camera is turned on in settings however it’s still not working. I have tried using zoom but this isn’t working, and when I go into YouCam I get the following popup which says: " No Webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam into your computer now. If you are using an integrated camera, make sure that it is turned on."

Any advice would be gratefully received.

if you are on Win10, have you tried the Camera app?
in Device Manager, what does it say about the web cam?
