Mouse macro doesn't detect external keyboard

Hey! I spilled coffee on my internal keyboard and the laptop doesn’t allow me to disable it, because the power on button is on the keyboard. I have tried everything I could find, but it just keeps reinstalling it upon restart. Keyboard started to glitch out, so I ended up disconnecting it from the motherboard. I don’t want to clean it out, because I’d have to disassemble literally everything( keyboard is beneath all the chips) to access it and I already had an external keyboard.

My mouse, however, only detects the internal keyboard and because it’s unplugged - macros do nothing. The app works properly, the mouse works properly, but it doesn’t recognize my external keyboard. Wat do? I have searched the web for a few hours now, and haven’t found anything similar, so decided to post.

Does anyone have a suggestion? Thank you for your time.
