Locked out of pc and unable to do anything to get password

is currently trying to factory reset his computer, which he was unable to do because he is out of storage on his 30gb computer. I suggested that he should boot his computer in safe mode from the system configuration window. He successfully shut his computer off but when he turned it back on it asked for his password(he usually uses his PIN number) and that’s when we run into problems. He can’t do anything without his password, he can go into the troubleshoot window, but everything he try’s to click on and run all it requires his password (which he doesn’t have) to do anything. If you have any suggestions please help!

We can help you with backing up any important data and then clean installing Windows but as per the PCHF Terms and rules that we agreed to abide by when joining we will not help with anything password related.
