Discord makes all other audio sound bad.

I recently got a new laptop and I noticed that whenever I`m in a Discord call, all my games, music and audio sound like they are played to me through a discord call. I have searched for hours but have not found a solution.

I am using the HP ProBook 450 G7 and I am not sure which version of Discord I am on, should be the latest though.

I don’t use Discord so cannot offer any specific suggestion.
I would check the speaker settings to see if the default has been changed to Discord.
