Will Sony Viao assist button work after changing hard drives?

    Will Sony Viao assist button work after changing hard drives?

    I am planning to replace my HDD with SDD. Since I am accessing the BIOS with Viao assist key, will Viao assist button work after changing hard drives?
    I tried to boot with other ways like pressing F2, F5, F9, delete etc. but it doesnt boot until the long press the assist key while the system is shut down.
    Thanks for your help.

      Yes the button should still respond in the same way.
