Recently, Iβm experiencing a problem with my laptop. I have a dell latitude e6420 without a battery, It keeps on booting up automatically when plugged then prompts me to set up time&date everytime when plugged. At first i thought it was the failure of Cmos battery, I replaced the cmos battery then configured the bios but no luck so far the problem still coming up again n again. I need help with this and i also need to know if this is worrisome in the future incase more problems might arrive due to this. I hope you guys can help me out with this..

The bios is up-to-date, After i setting up the time&date everytime in boot up, in windows time and date it is exactly the same as i saved it before. Nothing has changed inside windows at all. Incase if this issue canβt be fix let me know if it is concerning in the future like whether it is a minor issue or major issue..Comment

System may not boot.
You did connect the battery correctly?
The battery may be bad they loose power just sitting on the shelf.
What is the time zone that windows is set for and do you have it configured to sync the clock?
Do you have any things that is over clocked?
Have you scanned for virus and malware (some places I have read suggested)Comment
