Acer Aspire 4720 not entering Wincrisis mode, plz advise.
My old Acer Aspire 4720 stopped booting, turns on n HDD light goes off after 3-4 seconds while screen remains blank. If power button is pressed again, it shuts off.
I created a wincrisis flash drive to flash BIOS, assuming that it could b a BIOS problem, pressing Fn+Esc doesnβt load the BIOS Flash, instead power LED starts blinking as it does when computer is in sleep mode. Any help?
How long have you allowed it to sit like that to see if it does complete the boot.
What is the operating system
What Version
What Release
What Desktop Environment (for Linux)

Is is shutting off or entering sleep.
Remove the battery and power cord hold the power button for 60 seconds to discharge the system.
Re-seat the HDD
Plug just the power into the computer and see if that helps.

where did you get the BIOS update from?
Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution.
