    I cannot start the system from SSD

    Dear forumists. I have a laptop provided by the company. I cannot install anything in it because Iโ€™m not an administrator. I cannot format because there are common shared files that can reachable only with an company laptop. If I leave once the system, I cannot see those files.

    So I thought of a solution like this. I will remove the HDD in the laptop and replace it with the SSD I bought. I was going to do my job and when necessary, I would put the HDD back in and go about my business as if nothing had happened.

    I opened the back of the laptop, but the space to insert the SSD was empty. In Youtube videos, people were removing the HDD from the metal frame and inserting an SSD in its place. Mine was completely empty. Anyway, I plugged my SSD in to no avail, I came to boot from bios, but I canโ€™t see my SSD. He currently sees my SSD as storage in the companyโ€™s operating system.

    Normally there was only C. Installed the SSD and the D, E and F local disks also arrived.

    What is the problem, I can not solve. There are UEFI, Legacy, Secure Boot etc settings in BIOS?
    By the way, the laptop is DELL- Latitude 3590.
