installing only one or two apps at a time would have been preferred as narrowing down the potential culprit would be easier.
you could uninstall each of those 6 apps one at a time and see if the problem goes away, but sometimes things are left behind.

as to the BIOS update, any chance you got the wrong version for your country, something like that?
also try other ways of updating the BIOS, like from within the BIOS itself.
the BIOS update tool, winflash, that you used, you got that from the ASUS website?

I installed 3 apps each day
They were installed in the aforementioned order.

I didnt get the app from their website. A tutorial that i watches suggested it.

For uninstalling the apps, would it help to uninstall them using an app rather than windows’ default uninstall?

          Updating bios did not help.

What should i do now? Uninstall the apps i have one at a time
          Till it goes away?
          And if it didn’t?

yep - you are in a ‘suck it and see’ vicious cycle now.
I would use the Windows uninstall process to remove them then use something like Revo Uninstaller to remove any traces.
and yep - one at a time until (hopefully) the issue goes away.

and if it doesn’t go away - for me, I would reload Windows (yep - again) and NOT install anything - run it watching vids or whatever it takes and see it the problem really has gone away.
only then will you be able to say that Windows in its raw state works fine and therefore it must be something I’m installing that is causing this.
if that is in fact what it even is - at this stage we are simply trying to find the ‘what’ not the ‘why’.

I will try what you suggested, but first im gonna try a theory of mine on why this is happening. It’s probably wrong because it doesnt really explain why it happens during videos. And why in a burst of sleeping, it goes to sleep faster each time its woken.
What if something is triggering the ‘closing the lid’ action while watchin videos.
Because i changed the settings of everything and the only thing that i can think of that was supposed to make the laptop go to sleep was closing the lid.
And it kinda actually explains some of the things,
Like 1.it turns back on after some time because the ‘close the lid’ trigger finishes and because the laptop is open, it wakes up.
2.most of the time when it goes to sleep, if I turn it back on it goes to sleep again which could be because the laptop thinks the lid is closed

hey, at this stage, no idea is too crazy.
so yeah, go into Power Options and turn off going to sleep when lid is closed.
                can’t hurt!

Well it hasnt gone to sleep since i changed the setting but it’s also to soon to tell if it was actually the cause.
I wont change anything for a month and if it doesnt happen again i will tell you.
But i dont have any high hopes because of the reasons i mentioned in the last reply.
Also please dont close the thread untill 1month.
I will update the situation every week.

All of these is on the condition that no sleeping happens ofc.

                    ummmmm
                    My theory was actualy right.
Because i set the ‘lid close action’ ro turn of screen

And just right now the screen flickered(turned off & back on immediately) for (to my count) 32 times.

What am i supposed to do now?
Now we know my previous observation was wrong that “it turns back to sleep faster each time i wake it up”, because as i saw it, it happened totally randomly.

And i’d like to remind you that it ALWAYS happens when i’m watching videos.

Ok i checked the settings and actually it could be the power button too.
Because closing the lid is set to do nothing but it turns the screen off anyway. And also the power button action is set to turn the screen off. So I dont know which one is being triggered and i will change ‘lid close action’ to ‘sleep’ again to find out which one is being trigerred. But it may take some time for it to happen and to find out this way. But it’s 100% one of these because they’re the only thing i changed.

                      What’s next?

Wow im on a roll tonight
I mean, omg, it happened again after 2 minutes of posting the previous reply.
It seems even god wants me to get over with this

It happened again and it actually is the ‘lid close action’

Now we completely know what’s going on. It’s time for a solution!

Also I’m so sorry for the repetitive replies. I dont know how to delete the previous ones so i can wrap it up in only one post.

This is a new observation and i dont know what or why is this happening or if this is the only reason my laptop goes to sleep, but here it goes:

(This part is kinda story-like and unrelated, you can skip to the next paragraph)
When im watching videos, i put the laptop on a bedside table and sometimes while watching videos i lean my phone on it and start doing different stuff with my phone. And SOMETIMES the laptop went to sleep as i leaned my phone over it or like 1-2 seconds after that.
I thought it was a coincidence.
But when you said anything is possible i tried to see if this was related and after trying different things like tapping the phone to laptop which actually triggered ‘close lid action’ (the screen flicker) randomly. So i thought it was tapping so i tried different things at my expose like my own hand, a book,… But they didnt do anything.
After different theories and things like this i got to this point which is the whole point of this reply:

My laptop was connected to my phone’s hotspot and steam was downloading a game. So i thought maybe this is related to what is happening and i asked my friend to spam messages to one of my accounts on my phone
And i took this video while this was happening.
When i stick my phone to the front of laptop (where battery and other LEDs are) it kept flickering with my friend’s messages.
Also i want to say that he sent me over 30 or even more messages which was way more than the flickers!

The video(sorry I couldnt find anywhere better to upload)

i’m at the end of my suggestions.

                            to recap…
it happens only when watching videos
doesn’t matter which media player software is used
still occurs after fresh install of Windows
                            not related to power settings
                            BIOS has been updated

what is the current Windows 10 version on that PC?

that only leaves the actual hardware.
graphics card over-heating or just plain faulty.

                            otherwise I’m tapped out…

Well, it doesnt only happen while watching videos. As you can see in the video i uploaded nothing except steam was open and i happened.

Ummm, can this be fixed if i give it to a computer repair shop and also if you think someone on this forum might know what’s going on, could you tag them plz?

Also thanks for your help so far!

I’ll tag some other members in the hope you get lucky.
                                jmarket @phillpower2 @Evan Omo

if they can’t help, hopefully they know someone who may.

it may be fixable if given to a repair shop.
but there is a better than average chance they will do a fresh install of Windows 10 as well so your gamble is that they do it somehow differently to your method.

you missed my question of what Win10 version you reloaded it with?
