laptop not regestering clicks on mouse or touchpad?
My laptop is a MSI GV63 8SE it only started happening recently where i would try to click on things on my screen or desktop or homebar and it would move my mouse all aroundthe screen but would not register my clicks. I tried updating the mouse drivers and audio drivers, i haven reset windows file explorer, i have updated windows and my graphics, and i have tried different mice and my touch pad and still had the same effect. my mouse is logitech g602. the only thing that fixes it for a short while is ctrl+alt+Delete then exiting out of it but it still will stop registering my clicks after awhile.
have you tried disabling the touchpad and just using the external mouse?
maybe the touchpad is faulty and registering phantom presses.
and if itβs a wireless mouse, replace the batteries.
