Double-clicking any icon in a folder/on the desktop opens the last icon of the folder/desktop in Windows 10, i can’t use my laptop because of this problem, please help me.

Well, i tried making a new administrator account and see if the problem was still there, it was.
And for some weird reason when i press my volume up key a couple of times it seems to fix the problem for a couple of minutes.

Had you made any software changes just previous to you first noticing the issue.

Have you checked to see if there is a system restore point that is before the time and date that you first noticed the issue.
