Switching From 1 OS to Another A Lot

Is it bad for or hard on the computer to constantly install one OS from another a lot?
(Example: Install Windows, from Windows, install Linux, then back to installing Windows again, etc.)

nope, that’s no worse than the drive getting flogged with temp files, or restore points or any of the other dozens of repetitive, background tasks.

If you are referring to the hard drive, and a mechanical one at that then it could be argued that its actually better for the drive because there would be less defragmentation on a newly installed OS than that of a much used OS. But then one could twist this around to suit their argument.

The short answer is as Bruce said, NO
