Change backlight color?

Is anyone aware of a way to change the backlight color on the keyboard of a HP ProBook 450 G3? I know this isn’t a gaming laptop but I think it would be cool to have a red or green backlight. Any software or hardware options, that doesn’t include soldering anything?

Try this..

[li]Press + < C> keys to cycle through the available backlight colors.[/li][li]White, Red, Green and Blue are active by default; up to two custom colors can be added to the cycle in the System Setup (BIOS).[/li][/ol]

Well I tried the suggestion but it doesn’t seem to work. I don’t think this laptop gives you the option of changing the backlight color. After doing some Gooogle searches I couldn’t find anything.

Well it seems like this is possible with my model of laptop. So you can close this thread. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Hey Brandon,

Unfortunately there’s no way to change the back light color. There’s some but they have RGB controllers, lights, and chips to make that happen
