    Laptop for development

    Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a laptop good enough to smoothly run Unity or Unreal. I’m in my senior year of school and need something to be able to develop on the go. I bumped into the Predator Helios 300 but being a college student the price is a bit steep. I’ve never been really good with hardware and specs and im sure how resource intensive whatever im developing is factors into what i need but i was searching for a rig to start from.

Hi @HernandezJ368 and Welcome to PCHF

I assume you’re using this for 3D development correct? Are you planning to develop any 4K games/video?

I’m willing to spend up to $900. Don’t want to spend too much being that my desktop gets the job done.

There’s a huge difference, but you can’t afford one under $1000
