    Hi David.
    Welcome to PCHF.
Is your laptop starting all the time automatically, or every day at a certain time?

        Try these instructions from Lifewire.com.

Disabling Automatic Restart in Windows 7
        Code:
Click the [B]Start[/B] button and choose [B]Control Panel[/B].
        [ol]
[li]Click on System and Security. (If you don’t see it because you are viewing in Small icons or Large icons mode, double-click on the System icon and to go Step 4.)[/li][li]Choose the System link.[/li][li]Select Advanced system settings from the panel on the left of the screen.[/li][li]In the Startup and Recovery section near the bottom of the screen, click Settings.[/li][li]In the Startup and Recovery window, uncheck the checkbox next to Automatically restart.[/li][li]Click OK in the Startup and Recovery window.[/li][li]Click OK in the System Properties window and close the System window.[/li][/ol]

To add to what Dougie has stated where did you get the install software from?
After the reinstall were you ever able to access the system?
If so did you do any configuration and or settings and what were they?
Have you attempted to access Safe Mode?
