HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook - 15-ak049tx will not boot anymore

    Hi all
I truly need some help here.
I have HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook - 15-ak049tx which is not booting anymore. I stopped the laptop after the last use normally.Just before i stopped the laptop i noticed that windows 10 Home was not showing the free space available on my hard drive correct. When i started the laptop again he just
showed me the logo page and nothing more. The button to sign in will not appear and the page just flicker from time to time. I tried to start the laptop in safe mode
by pressing when start the F8 tab but the laptop will not boot in safe mode. I downloaded a windows 10 iso file from Microsoft page and created a bot-able USB stick
whit Rufus. In bios first i disabled the safe boot and then I changed the UEFI boot order. Now the boot order from top to bottom is 10 USB Diskette on Key/USB Hard Disk
    2) USB CD/DVD Rom Drive 30 OS Boot Manager, 4) Internal CD/DVD Boot Drive, 5) Network Adapter . I have to mention that OS Boot Manager is marked whit an arrow.
I started the laptop whit this configuration and the USB stick connected but the laptop is still booting from Hard Drive as before.
What can i do to repair the boot process on my laptop in order to be able to recover some data.

Can you tell us a bit more about this as in what was reporting the amount of free disk space left and how much was available.

From Windows 8 onwards tapping F8 will not get you into Safe Mode, this because Windows loads so much quicker, what you can try is powering the notebook up and down a couple of times using the notebooks power button, if Windows is accessible at all after a couple of times of doing this the Windows Recovery Environment (RE) should come up where Safe Mode and other troubleshooting options are nowadays.

That is the correct procedure so I would check that the media on your thumb drive is bootable, you can use QEMU for this, see info here

        First thanks for your replay.
I tried to bot in safe mode by pressing F8 but nothing happens.
I created that bot able USB stick using Rufus. Can it be that Rufus did not created a bot able USB stick?
I do not have experience with with bot able USB Sticks. This is my first time to use a USB Stick to bot and install a new Windows Version.

Please read again my reply #2, I did ask you a couple of questions that we could do with knowing the answers to, I also explained why you cannot get into Safe Mode on the computer and post a link showing how you can check to make sure that your USB stick is bootable or not.

          You are welcome btw

            Hi phillpower 2
When the laptop crashed the amount of free space shown on the HDD was 0. I tested the USB stick with the tool recommended by you and USB Stick looks ok.
After my last post here I removed the HDD from my laptop and plugged him as an external HDD on a pc with windows 7 . This pc is not able to read the
external HDD. I get a notification that this hard drive has not recognizable data and need to be formatted. I presume that the HDD completely crashed down.
Is it something i can still try to recover some data ?

Apologies for the delay getting back to you Masam.

You may be able to get some if not all of the data back using Puppy Linux, post back and let us know if you would like to give it a try.

                Hi phillpower 2
I managed to recover my data by using File Scavenger. I also manged to install win 10 on my pc from the bot table stick i created. The problem
was that i had to plug this stick in USB 2.0 port and not in a USB 3.0 port. After i found out this small trick i was able to install win 10 without any
                problem.
                Thanks for your support .
