      Easiest solution if you don’t want to spend money on repairs: attach a USB wireless mouse (that’s the first thing I attach to all our netbooks) and turn off the touch pad.

      Or borrow a mouse and see it turning off the touchpad keeps the sound going all the time.

        As of now I have a audio to usb dongle to use headphones. But yeah this is pretty much a hardware issue right?

            I have thought all along, this is a hardware issue.
            As @Bill1 suggested, I would have it looked at by a trained professional, when you can.
            I can’t see the repair, as being overly expensive.
