Ok my son is trying to downgrade his sisters laptop which has Win 8.1 on it. She says it was working correctly the last time she shut the thing down.. Now.. he is down degrading it to Win 7,but when he started working on it he found that the usb drivers are missing as well as the lan drivers and of course the optical drive-drivers.. Doing a check disk now and going back in the bios to check to see if everything is set where it is suppose to be. Trying safe mode is no help neither..

Use snappy driver installer to grab the drivers, I have found that it will find drivers when downgrading.
Use the SDI Lite download, then go by this pictureβ¦

You may need to use another USB device to go online.
Also, this program should help us along the way.
