problems with the intel arc b580

    Hello

First of all, i know next to nothing about computers

And here are my specs. I bought my PC back in late 2021:

    Asus B560M-K Prime motherboard

SPARKLE Intel Arc B580 TITAN OC

    Intel® CoreTM i5-11400F Processor

    Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM

    Kingston 1TB A2000 M.2 NVMe SSD

    PSU Corsair CX550M 550W

I have recently “upgraded” from a 2060 6gb dual to the intel arc b580. At first i didn’t even notice a dirrence in the low spec games. But in cyperpunk and red dead 2, i run an average of about 30 fps. With my 2060 i ran completely fine. Could it be something that i am missing? Is there some setting or whatever i’ve forgotten to enable? I have already sold my old graphics card.

    Hello,

Did you make sure to install the latest Intel Drivers? I’m running an Arc A770 and it’s very important to use the latest drivers as Intel released their API in the newest drivers.

[https://www.intel.com/content/www/us...s-windows.html](‘http://latest Intel Arc Drivers’) This is the URL to download the latest drivers. The latest driver released was 2 days ago.

I would download and run this. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us...rt/detect.html It sits in the tray and lets you know when there is a driver update for any Intel component in your PC.
I use it on all my systems at home and work.

If you check the GPUs spec tab here you will find that your PSU specs do not meet the minimum requirements stated by Sparkle.

Your build needs a minimum of a 600W or above Gold efficiency rated PSU from one of the following, Corsair RM range, EVGA, Seasonic or Super Flower, seven year warranty minimum but preferably ten.
