What version of vlc do you have ? Click on Help>About
I am using 3.0.17.4
Which has Video-Mpeg-2 + MPGA (TS)
and I just notice Mpeg4 Tv Device 720p and Mpeg4 Tv Device 1080p

I am not 100% sure if was you have in you list is compatible or not.
What I went from what the spec sheet in Post #18 shows

Mpeg -2 at the top of the List
Mpeg 4 at the bottom. I do not know if Mpeg4 is backward compatible with Mpeg-2
You could always convert to both options and burn bot to the 1 disc.

On your TV, you could use the browser and log into your iCloud account.
Or you could AirPlay straight from your Apple device to the TV; Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

To do this the easy way you really should use a wireless/bluetooth keyboard.
Better still a keyboard with built in mouse

Hi Guys, Here is an update to a few of your questions. I dug out a old DVD I made years ago. It is labeled, UDF. The video I burned using the Windows feature is also labeled UDF. The video I burned with Nero Burning Rom is labeled CDFS. The only one that plays in my JVC recorder is the one I made years ago, labeled UDF. Do not know why the one I made with Windows labeled UDF does not play. Also my VLC version is 3.0.20 Thanks to Bruce and PeterOz for all your help and suggestions, but I do not want to waste any more of your time. Something is going on here, that I do nt have time to research. For example I can not duplicate burning the original video using Nero like I did at the beginning. Nero does not even recognize the video, unless I tell it to look at "ALL " and then it sees it, but I can not drag it over to burn it to a DVD . As I said earlier, I removed Nero and reinstalled it, but no difference. Since I had no trouble copying the video to a jump drive, and I can plug it in the back of the TV, and it plays no problem, maybe I need to graduate one step up the digital age. " Bruce " Thanks again, guys, much appreciated.

We really are happy to help. (y)
And yes, it is annoying that we/you couldn’t get working what you know you have successfully done in the past, but part of me is guiltily glad as well, if for no other reason then eventually, you WILL of had to move away from DVD’s.

Happy USB’ing!
