There is a question mark over why they were sold in the first place.
Another question over their method of transport to you.
Even when the drive heads are parked, they are still not immune to a high enough drop, or high G-forces.
Maybe also stop “shaking it in mid air”. (y)

    Drives are cheap - 4TB for AUD$140.
For drives you seldom use, maybe you only need to replace one - or neither!

Sometimes people need money over some parts. Good people exists too. I also contacted seller about this thing, he said he can easily replace 4TB drive for Western Digital 4TB one (which is more expensive).

I’ve never used online marketplaces, only real life meeting. Got that drives from hand to hand.

This PC forum and you kind of disappointed me. I’ve found the reason of these clicks and fancy but working solution for it on other forums. The exact same problem and explanation of it.

Why are you yapping about drive death

The messenger of bad news is not your enemy.
Be mindful of this when you do not receive the information you desire.

Consider that they are not the architect of your frustration, and that your frustration is merely a reaction to present events; an emotional response that you should accept and control.
Acknowledge your frustration and why you are feeling frustrated.

Contemplate the best way to navigate this setback to best meet your immediate and future goals. If you apply this to future threads, you will be better able to move past further advice that may differ from yours.

If you have found the answer why don’t you post the solution so we and others can learn.
