    Everytime i stick in my second ram my pc wont show a screen

    Hey i recently build a PC and Everytime i plug in my second ram i get a black screen. The DRAM and CPU light is also shining red when i plug in the second ram. (see the photo)
    Motherboard: AS ROCK A620M Pro RS
    CPU: Ryzen 5 7500f
    RAM: Corsair Vengence 32gb 6000mhz CL30

    Things to note:

    My bios version is running on the newest version
    The other Ram stick is not dead i tried switching them and running them each alone
    My PC works fine with one Ram stick i just have 16gb of ram instead of 32gb.
    I tried changing the XMP profile but i dont know much about so i need some help maybe

    1. The memory you have is too fast for the cpu.

      2)The memory should be in slots A2 & B2
      https://download.asrock.com/Manual/A620M%20Pro%20RS.pdf
    2. XMP should be turned off as your memory is already too fast.

      With the RAM as Peter has advised do the below;

      Restore the MBs default factory settings in the BIOS, they are sometimes listed as one of the following " factory defaults" “most stable” or on newer boards “optimized” please note that if you have both the “most stable” and the “optimized” options in the BIOS you should choose the most stable" option as in this instance the “optimized” settings are a form of overclocking that can cause instability.

      Save the new settings, exit the BIOS, restart the computer, test by using the computer as you normally would, post back with an update once you have done this.

            When you reset the BIOS have a look at what voltage the ram is running at.

                I will ask @phillpower2 to comment BEFORE you change anything.
                I am thinking you should up the voltage. please DO NOT do this until @phillpower2 agrees.

                The only other thing I can think of is a faulty channel on the cpu.

                  Sorry Peter but being that the OP never bothered to even acknowledge my reply I don’t feel the need to offer anything further.

                    My thoughts are a voltage problem or a bad cpu channel.
                    @Bruce @Pyro @xrobwx71 @Evan Omo any ideas?

                      To confirm - if either stick is in, as long as it’s only one, it’ll work?
                      If you are using A2 & B2, have you tried A1 & B1 ?
                      Did you try the suggestions in post #3?

                        I agree with this and until the OP responds with having completed this instruction, moving forward only gets confusing.
