Yes I’m only storing and running games from the 4tb KingSpec Gen4 l,not running windows 11 on it.Still blinking a red light, seems to be dependant on the game.Like with Hogwarts Legacy it flashed when loading if I remember but not whilst playing.Seemed to flash a little more playing Cyberpunk I’ll live with it.

Sounds like an activity light. No harm from it. I see no way to turn it off. Place a small piece of electrical tape on it.

I think a blinking red light on that MB is normally a power issue.
Are you using an 8pin or a 6+2 on the GPU Power
Or could it be the CPU power light and you are seeing light leaking under the GPU
Also, have you connected both the 4 pin and 8 pin on the MB power?

It’s a blinking red light on my new KingSpec Gen4 XG7000 4tb NVME

Their website and manuals are pretty low on details.
Could find nothing about the NVMe having onboard LED’s, or what they do.
But from your video, it looks like an activity LED to me.

If the read/write speeds are good, and the drive isn’t throwing up any SMART errors, I’d leave it alone. (y)

You said before that it was possibly the GPU.
If it is the NVME then it is a read/write light

Yes I’d used Crystal disk when playing cyberpunk on it read writes seemed as advertised,I’ll check temps at a point.
