    PC restarts while gaming

When I’m playing games, on heavier titles like God of War, or Horizon Zero Dawn my PC restarts, or the game breaks with driver error.

    My specs:

    Ryzen 2700x

    Radeon 6700 XT

    16GB RAM

    Zalman ZM 600W PSU

I could run stress test (Prime95+ Furmark) on CPU and GPU, and both at the same time…for 30 minutes, there was no issues at all, only while I’m gaming.
The CPU-GPU temps at idle around 40-45C, and while gaming 70-75C.
During the stress test was around 80 for CPU and GPU.

I’ve run memtest, they are OK.

I did a clean install of Win, and drivers as well.

What could cause this? PSU problem?

    Hello

Might be the psu.. you will probably need a gold standard psu with at least a 5 to 10 year warranty. Let get you some more help.

First thing is your power supply is not good enough.

      I would look for a minimum 750-850W
850 would build in a bit of future proof.
Minimum recommended by AMD is 650W you only have 600W
      Read here
AMD Radeon™ RX 6700 XT graphics card has 40 compute units, 12GB of GDDR6 memory, & a game frequency of 2424 Mhz, with powerhouse 1440p resolution gaming.

Not just any brand of PSU will do.

Is your GPU a stock AMD card or a third party such as ASRock, ASUS or Gigabyte etc, not all brands have the same PSU requirements so it is important that we know, just going from 650 to 750W almosts doubles the cost so if you only need a 650W only pay out what you need to.
