    audio can't come out ?

    just bought a computer
    mb : biostar a520ms procie ryzen 4600g
    What if the computer audio can’t come out? I have used two types of speakers but it still doesn’t work, the audio jack is attached to the green CPU
    Does anyone know why the sound isn’t coming out?

    Is this the same PC as mentioned in your other thread regarding the Taskbar icons not working?

    Let’s cross off the dumb stuff first;
    [ul]
    [li]plug speakers into power, they may need direct connection to mains power, or get their power from a USB port[/li][li]make sure power it turned on[/li][li]make sure speakers are turned on[/li][li]check speaker volume on the speaker is turned up[/li][li]make sure speaker volume in bottom right of screen is turned up[/li][li]check speaker is in the green 3.5mm audio jack in the back of the PC, or plugged into a USB port if those sort of speakers[/li][/ul]
    Go to Control Panel, Device Manager, expand Sound, Audio and game controllers - what audio devices are listed, and is their a yellow exclamation mark near it?

      I’ve checked everything seems to be in order… only the green jack which is usually inserted at the back of the CPU doesn’t work, I tried the one on the front panel but it works, so is the plug at the back damaged? even though I only bought it 5 days ago … yes it’s the same PC

        You need to provide as much information as you can about this computer, there is more inside the case than just a processor.

        You mention that the front audio port works but not the back audio port, can I just make sure that you do not have things plugged into both the front and the back audio ports both at the same time.

        It is important to use the correct terminology, CPU = Central Processing Unit or processor for short, it has nothing to do with anything else.

            As far as I know, the audio jack can be entered from the back and front, if it’s from the back, it’s already one with the motherboard, as far as I know, if it’s on the front, there has to be an additional cable plugged into the motherboard…Sorry if the terminology in Indonesia is one CPU is a set of computer equipment without a monitor, if the CPU you mean here is just a processor.

                  You can only have one or the other working, front or rear and not both and reason being is the MBs audio chip can only deal with the one source of input and output at a time.

                  If you have nothing plugged in the front and you get no output from the rear green audio port there is something else going on.

                    yes, I know, basically it can’t work from the back, but from the front it can, is there damage to the motherboard even though I just bought it 5 days ago?

                      Lets try another way, do you still get no sound from the rear audio port even when there is nothing plugged into the front audio port on the PC case.

                      There is clearly nothing wrong with the audio chip or the drivers.
