    Black screen and game crash

    Hello everyone ! ive had some issue with my pc for a little moment .

    When im starting a game (im mainly playing COD and Arena breakout ) everything runs fine , but after 1-2 game , the game just crash and i get a black screen for a few second and everything go back like nothing happen .

    I tried many thing :

    [ul]
    [li]Going back to windows 10 , going back again on windows 11[/li][li]going back to the old version of the gpu driver and after trying that i installed the new one[/li][li]did a memory diagnostic[/li][li]checked the hardware to see if something was not tight[/li][li]i brought the pc to canada computer to get it checked , he said that everything was running fine but the only thing he could see might be the power supply wich could maybe not give enough power to the gpu[/li][/ul]
    the only place i get an error is on COD : its a directX error with numbers but when i look it up the answer to solve the issue is always different and i tried most of the things , heres the numbers : Error code : 0x887A0005 (0x887A0006) (6068) D

    Like i said up there , the guy said it could be the psu but i want to make sure before buying a new one for nothing .

    Heres my specs :

    CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

    GPU: AMD RX 7900 XTX Red Devil

    Power supply : corsair SF750

    Ram : G.Skill trident Z5 RGB 2x16 DDR5 6400 ( set to 5900)

    the problem does not come from heating , i did many stress test and everything was fine on that side

    If someone could help me i would be forever thankfull , thanks !

    (p.s : english is not my main language , please dont be to harsh on me )

    UPDATE : just changed the PSU for a 850W and still happening

            To confirm, the SF750 is the 80+ Platinum certified one?
            What was the make/model/age of the 850w PUS?

            From the MTB report;
            [ul]
            [li]latest event log show Arctic RGB control master error, so let’s uninstall that[/li][/ul]

            From Speccy;
            [ul]
            [li]monitor1 is 165Hz, monitor2 is 60Hz - disconnect one and try your games[/li][li]set the memory to 4800 or 5200, the mobo handles these speeds without overclocking[/li][li]disable all your scheduled tasks for this current testing phase[/li][/ul]

                So mid game, the screen goes dark and after a second or so it comes back all normal?
                Only in gaming?
                You haven’t noticed it when browsing, watch videos, checking your emails etc?
                And once it happens, does it happen again?

                And let us know how it goes with only one monitor.

                  so , basically , i play like 1, sometimes 2 match and then boom , all black for a few seconds , and everything comes back but my game crashed and windows is a bit laggy for a few seconds

                  And no , i could watch videos for 8 hours and nothing would happen , but it happen everytime i play my games , even if it happen now and i reopen it , it will happen

                  im trying the monitor test at the moment

                    When changing the graphics drivers, did you use the DDU utility?

                      And i just tried with one monitor (the 165hz one ) and i dont know why or if its just a coincidence but it look like the crash was worse , the black screen stayed and i couldnt do nothing …

                        DDU has a solid following and is the ‘go to’ method for changing graphic drivers.
