No video signal from my GPU

    Good day all
This may be a bit long winded..but here it is
I recently bought a built pc ,specs..
    Asus Q270M-C PC i7-7700 3.60GHz 32GB DDR4 RAM, 4TB HDD, Win11Pro
I bought an older zotac geforce gtx 1070 8gb mini use in it..well needless to say, I’m getting no video signal from the hdmi..I also switched out my old card..and same thing
I’ve gone into bios. Changed my pcie as my main ghraphics..updated ALL my drivers
All of my video cables are good, and tested..my vga output works..and my intigrated hdmi works..but I cannot get anything out of my gpu..according to the device manager, everything is operating
I’m at a loss..any help would be appreciated

What is the monitor you are using?
Today most monitors are auto detect - Not all are.
Have you checked the monitor menu for input as HDMI

Did you update the drivers via windows or via the Zotac site.
              https://www.zotac.com/us/files/download/by_product?p_nid=580006&driver_type=235&os=2212.
Did you also try every HDMI input on the tv?

Yes, actually several times, when I removed the new card to try my old card. And reinstalled it’s drivers. Same result. Something is blocking the hdmi signal..or the signal from the pci"e slot…

Can you borrow a monitor from a friend, neighbour etc for testing?

OK got my pc back yesterday..all is working except the hdmi port on the graphics card…its shot..all other ports are functional..so of course the one I want to use, isn’t working, so I’m going to use one of the display ports.

That will be fine, HDMI and DP are virtually identical for everyday use.
I assume you have a DP port on the monitor and a DP cable?

I was told I could use a dp to hdmi adapter and that would work fine
