Audio suddenly goes missing until I switch audio source back and forth

    Hello

I only recently noticed this issue because I usually keep the volume muted. At some point, usually while gaming, the sound just suddenly stops working system-wide.
I can usually get it back by going into the audio mixer and disabling and re-enabling the audio source, even though only one source is connected (the display).

Audio issue happening with all the stuff in “sound, video and game controller” active

    Here are my system specs:

CASE: nzxt h7 flow rgb white edition
PSU: 850w 80gold core reactor mod
    FANS: included in h7
    COOLER: deepcool lt720 white 360mm
    CPU: amd ryzen 7 7800x3d
GPU: msi rtx-4070-ti super gamingx trio slim 16gb gddr6x
MOBO: b650 gaming plus wf am5
    RAM: 32gb 6000 c30 lexar rgb 2x16gb
    SSD: 2tb silicon power us75 m2 nvme gen4 7000mbps
    OS: W11 Pro

PC wasn’t assembled by me, but by a professional.

I’ll add screenshots of the device manager sections of “sound, video and game controller” and of “input and output audio source” and the “property” page of the display I use as output

    Things I’ve tried:
    1. clean install of the nvidia driver checking “clean install” from GeForce Experience update prompt
    2. disabling all the things in “sound, video and game controller” except Nvidia High Definition Audio and “Dispositivo High Definition Audio” (dispositivo means device in english, if I disable it, if I plug earphones in the 3.5mm jack on the case the pc doesn’t see them" (here’s a video of the issue happening with this “setup” Audio issue happening with the “setup” of when I tried thing num.2 of the “things I’ve tried” list )
    3. switch from DP cable to HDMI

I’m not experienced in this so please, for any kind soul out there who will hopefully try to help me, treat me like I’m 5…

I so afraid of it being an hardware problem…pc only has 3 months of life and god only knows how much time would warranty process take (we’re talking of 4 months AT LEAST)

This issue is extremely frustrating, I need help please
    ???

If anything else is needed I’m happy to provide it

Being that the OP abandoned their previous thread without even bothering to acknowledge the help offered I am going to go ahead and close this thread so that those that appreciate the free tech support will be taken care of first.
