You’ll only see marginally a 19% average overall increase.
If your BIOS supports it, I’d go for the i7-7700. You should see about an average 40% increase.

Either way, bumping the RAM to DDR4 would be roughly twice the bandwidth.

And without raining on xrobwx71’s parade, that’s ‘advertised’ figures.
The CPU jump of 19% is theoretical, if you physically see that much in the real world, I’d be surprised.
For me, Yes there would be an improvement, but if you actually notice it - that’s debatable.
